I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.
— Ephesians 1:18 (NIV)
Today's reading will cover, Ezekiel 1-3:15; Hebrews 3:1-19; Psalm 104:1-23; Proverbs 26:24-26 (New International Version)
When I read the glory and majesty of Ezekiel’s vision I am dumbfounded. Listen to what is said about us and still he in his majesty connects with Ezekiel to continue to press in to his people. It makes me cry – I’m so sorry we are like that. I veer off all the time and am so thankful for nudging from the Holy Spirit. Look too what had to be done to Ezekiel so he could with stand his time up against the people he is going to. *Sighs*
12 Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters.[f] Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. 13 You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. 14 For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. 15 Remember what it says:
“Today when you hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts
as Israel did when they rebelled.”
