The Daily - Nov 2nd

Today's Verse
You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
Today's reading will cover, Ezekiel 3:16-6:14; Hebrews 4:1-16; Psalm 104:24-35; Proverbs 26:27 (New International Version)
Ezekiel 3 -A Watchman for Israel
Ezekiel has been assigned by the Lord as the watchman over Israel. What happens is "Pretty trippie" as my daughter would say about these passages.

Ezekiel 4-A Sign of the Coming Siege
Ezekiel 5-A Sign of the Coming Judgment
Ezekiel 6-Judgment against Israel’s Mountains

It is puzzling for sure and even bizarre but what I notice over and over again is that GOD would rather forgive us than judge us.

Hebrews 4-Promised Rest for God’s People

6 So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. 7 So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted:
“Today when you hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts.”[
